NicaSeeker.com is a business and lifestyle directory website designed to help residents, expats, and visitors discover trusted services, shops, restaurants, accommodations, and more in Nicaragua. We provide curated listings, blog content, and helpful resources to connect users with businesses across the country.

All content on NicaSeeker.com—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and layout—is the property of NicaSeeker.com or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print pages from the website for personal use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove user-generated content at our discretion.
If you purchase a Branded Website through NicaSeeker (“Branded Website”):
What you’re getting. NicaSeeker provides a hosted, custom-branded web presence designed to showcase your business and may include online bookings, reservations, online orders, payment gateways, and direct customer communication features via third-party tools.
Where it’s hosted. Branded Websites are published either as a single branded page (e.g., https://nicaseeker.com/your-business-name/) or https://your-business-name.nicaseeker.com/).
Content ownership. All content you submit (text, images, links, files, media) must be your own or used with permission. You retain ownership of your trademarks, logos, and supplied content.
Design consistency. NicaSeeker may edit, format, or adjust layout and styling for consistency with site design.
Featured items. Pages may include an optional listing of up to two featured products/services by default. Additional items may be managed separately.
Third-party tools. Integrations for bookings, payments, messaging, and automations (e.g., Calendly, Stripe, BAC/Bank links, PayPal) are provided via external services. You are responsible for maintaining these accounts, credentials, and subscriptions. NicaSeeker does not handle or store payment card/bank data.
Compliance & conduct. If you operate in Nicaragua, you must comply with all Nicaraguan laws, regulations, taxes, licensing, and consumer standards. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NicaSeeker, its owners, and affiliates against any claims, liabilities, costs, or actions arising from your content, operations, or legal non-compliance. All site-wide rules apply, including acceptable use, user-generated content rules, and prohibitions on political commentary, negative remarks about Nicaragua, or public statements (including on social media or other public forums) that could bring NicaSeeker into disrepute by association.
Start dates. Where a start date (e.g., launch date, fee/commission commencement) is specified in your Branded Website agreement, that date applies regardless of whether you have supplied materials or approvals. (Your custom agreement may provide additional details; if there is a conflict, the custom agreement controls.)
Non-refundable once work starts. All payments for Branded Website plans are non-refundable once the intake form or alternative means of providing information, is submitted and work has commenced.
What “fees” include. “Agreed fees” include, without limitation: setup fees, plan fees, commissions on sales/orders/bookings, hourly charges for additional work, and any third-party subscription/platform costs associated with integrations (e.g., booking or payment tools).
Hourly rate. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, additional work beyond included allowances is billed at USD $80/hour.
Your responsibilities. You’re responsible for providing accurate content during intake and for maintaining any required third-party accounts and subscriptions.
Ongoing services. Hosting/support and other ongoing services are provided per the plan you selected or as later agreed in writing.
NicaSeeker may suspend or remove a Branded Website (or specific functionality) and/or restrict access if:
You fail to pay any agreed fees (including setup, commissions on sales/orders/bookings, hourly charges for additional work, or applicable subscriptions/platform costs).
You submit false, misleading, offensive, illegal, or infringing content; violate these Terms or applicable laws; or otherwise harm the reputation/operation of the NicaSeeker platform.
You engage in conduct intended to divert or funnel sales, orders, or bookings away from the Branded Website to avoid agreed commissions (including where an exclusivity obligation exists in your custom agreement). In such cases, NicaSeeker may suspend or remove your Branded Website and recover unpaid or avoided commissions as provided in your custom agreement (including estimated assessments where statements are not provided).
NicaSeeker will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and an opportunity to resolve issues prior to removal where practicable.
NicaSeeker may modify features, pricing, layout, or availability of the Branded Website plan at any time. Changes will not affect customers who have already purchased and submitted a completed intake form, unless:
You opt into a revised plan or a renewal, or
Substantial changes are required to maintain technical, legal, or design standards.
We will notify existing Branded Website clients of any material changes that could affect their published page or ongoing service.
The Rivas Run service offered through NicaSeeker is a weekly personal shopping and delivery service operated independently by the NicaSeeker team.
Rivas Run facilitates the purchase and delivery of groceries and goods from Rivas and surrounding areas to customers located in San Juan del Sur, Escamequita, and nearby regions. We act as your agent in purchasing items based on your submitted order form.
All orders must be submitted via the Rivas Run form by the deadline communicated each week or listed on the website. NicaSeeker is not responsible for missed submissions, incomplete information, or unavailable items at time of purchase.
Customers must submit an estimated total cost for their requested items. This estimate will be used to calculate the total payment due upon form submission. The following applies:
A service fee of $10 or 10% of the total estimated cost (whichever is greater) is applied automatically.
A delivery fee of $5 is added for home deliveries within San Juan del Sur or Escamequita.
The total amount due must be paid in full before we fulfill your order.
After purchase, if your final total is less than the amount paid, you will receive a refund or credit. If your order exceeds the amount paid, the balance must be settled at or before collection. NicaSeeker reserves the right to withhold delivery or collection until payment is complete.
Orders can be collected from designated pickup points or delivered for a $5 fee (see locations covered).
We will notify you by email or WhatsApp when your order is ready and confirm the pickup time and place.
If you are not present for your pickup or delivery without prior arrangement, your order may be held until the following cycle.
If paying by bank transfer, customers must upload proof of payment via a secondary secure form. Orders will not be fulfilled without verified receipt and cleared funds.
Rivas Run is a custom order service; refunds are not available once the order has been fulfilled. If you cancel after your payment has been processed but before the order is fulfilled, a refund minus a $10 admin fee may be issued at our discretion.
NicaSeeker is not responsible for:
Item availability, quality, or changes in pricing by stores
Delays due to road conditions, weather, or third-party issues
Perishable item condition beyond reasonable delivery timelines
We strive to deliver exactly what you request. However, substitutions may be made if an item is out of stock, unless you explicitly state otherwise in your order.
By submitting a Rivas Run order, you agree to these specific terms in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.
Please note that Rivas Run does not currently offer refrigeration or freezer storage during purchase, transport, or delivery. For this reason, we cannot accept orders for items that require cold or frozen conditions (e.g., ice cream, frozen meats, dairy requiring constant chilling, etc.). Customers who include such items do so at their own risk, and NicaSeeker will not be held responsible for any spoilage, temperature damage, or product degradation resulting from a lack of cold chain logistics.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nicaragua. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nicaragua.
