2. We booked a trip to San Juan Del Sur with zero knowledge of the area outside of google. As we got closer to the trip I began to worry about our safety and if we would be bored. We booked online through Viator with Jossi Tours our first day thinking that we would meet other tourists to make friends with and get tips about the island. Instead we made fast friends with Danny who attended the tour with us. Danny was our go to throughout the week. He was easy accessible via whatapp for anything related to SJDS. We asked him to take us to the Christ of Mercy statue and he was able to take us and gave us a rundown on what we could see from high above. We ran out of time for other excursions but he was very happy to help us with surfing ideas and offered transportation, but we had a rental SUV so we did it ourselves. We left SJDS a whole lot more confident as tourists and plan on returning soon. The only difference is I will have Jossi Tours handle all my transportation and I will schedule more tours the next time. Jossi Tours is far more than a tour company, they are a SJDS concierge.
