Tired of the crowds, the chaos, and the heat of shopping in Rivas? We get it — it’s easy to get Rivas’d Out.

That’s exactly why we created Rivas Run, a personal shopping and delivery service designed to save you time, hassle, and sweat.

Each week, we collect orders from the San Juan del Sur and Escamequita community, head to Rivas, and shop on your behalf. Whether you’re after pantry staples or homeware from La Colonia and MaxiPali, DIY or gardening tools from Sinsa, spare parts for your car or generator, or those elusive items tucked away in the markets and hidden shops known only to longtime locals—we’ve got you covered!

How It Works

Fill out the form with your shopping list and an estimated price for each item (we'll then calcuate the total price for you.)
If you’d like your order delivered to your door in SJDS or Escamequita, we’ll add a $5 delivery fee. Otherwise, pickup in central SJDS is free.
A service fee of $10 or 10% of your order total (whichever is greater) will be applied to your estimate.
Estimated Order + Delivery + Service Fee = Your Pay Now Total
Once we’ve completed your shopping, we’ll reconcile the final cost. If your estimate was off, we’ll let you know what’s owed or what you’ll be refunded. Final payments or credits are handled at or before collection.

Important: Cold or Frozen Items

We currently do not have refrigerated or freezer storage, so if your order includes cold or frozen items, please be aware of the following:

Only include cold or frozen items if you’re selecting same-day home delivery and your items can reasonably fit in our limited cool box space.
Items requiring refrigeration may defrost or spoil during transit, especially if there’s no room left in the cool box.
While we’ll do our best to keep perishables cool, we cannot guarantee their condition upon delivery and take no responsibility for items that defrost or spoil.

Once your order is received and payment is confirmed, we’ll get to work! You’ll be notified when your items are ready for pickup or delivery — and you can sit back and enjoy the cool while we deal with the heat and the hustle.
